Tom Hiddleston Would Love To Play James Bond

‘Crimson Peak’ star Tom Hiddleston has revealed he’d love to take over from Daniel Craig as James Bond.

Yahoo asked the English star whether he’d be interested in taking on 007 when it next comes available and he said he would.

“Probably me, and 50,000 other British actors [would be interested],” explains Tom in our interview above.

“If it ever happened that would be very exciting, but it’s such an unlikely prospect… or maybe not, I don’t know. It’s one of those things that… I would love to be in a Bond film at least once before I shuffle off this mortal coil, but in whatever capacity.

“I just think they’re great films.”

Daniel Craig is rumoured to have one more James Bond film on his contract after the release of ‘SPECTRE’ later this month, so Tom’s name is very likely to be on a list of potential replacements for the most coveted role in movies.

He’ll next be seen in Guillermo Del Toro’s gothic horror ‘Crimson Peak’ where he plays mysterious lothario Thomas Sharpe, a man with a dark secret. Apt training for playing 007? We’ll see.

‘Crimson Peak’ is coming to UK cinemas on Friday, 16 October. Watch a trailer below.
