Tom Cruise Thriller ‘All You Need Is Kill’ Changes to ‘Edge of Tomorrow,’ Gets Comic-Con Push
Warner Bros. has changed the name of the Tom Cruise sci-fi thriller “All You Need Is Kill” to “Edge of Tomorrow.” Studio also revealed plans to promote the film at Comic-Con this week.
Doug Liman directed the film that co-stars Emily Blunt. WB will still release the film, a co-production with Village Roadshow, on June 6, 2014. Studio will showcase the first footage from the film during WB’s Comic-Con panel on July 20.

Film’s cast also includes Bill Paxton, Kick Gurry, Dragomir Mrsic, Charlotte Riley, Jonas Armstrong and Franz Drameh. Dante W. Harper, Jez Butterworth, John-Henry Butterworth and Christopher McQuarrie wrote the screenplay based on the novel, “All You Need Is Kill” by Hiroshi Sakurazaka.
