‘I Can Do That’ Renewed For Second Season By NBC

We have the first renewal of a new broadcast summer series this year: NBC has ordered an eight-episode second installment of competition variety series I Can Do That. In the six-episode first season, won by Nicole Scherzinger, six celebrities competed in trying new skills.

“This series thrust our celebrities out of their comfort zones and into exciting, unpredictable situations and they rose to the occasion each week,” said NBC’s Paul Telegdy. “We are thrilled to bring new challenges and up the ante for season two.”

While falling off its America’s Got Talent lead-in, I Can Do That has averaged a respectable 1.7 rating in adults 18-49 and 5.7 million viewers overall in “most current” Nielsen data, regularly winning its time period.

Based on an Israeli format, I Can Do That is produced by Universal Television.
