Raunchy Red-Band Trailer for Aubrey Plaza’s ‘The To-Do List’
CBS Films has released a new red-band trailer for Aubrey Plaza-starring “The To-Do List” with plenty of focus on raunchy aspects of the sex comedy.
“Shove the tassel up your asshole,” reads the display board at the film’s high school in Boise, Idaho, in the trailer’s first scene. Plaza portrays a tightly-wound high school senior who, while working as a lifeguard, decides that she will lose her virginity by the end of the summer of 1993.
“From straight A’s to catching her first F,” the trailer asserts in a single-entendre. Maggie Carey, spouse of Bill Hader, who also stars, wrote and directed the low-budget comedy, which carries a $1.2 million pricetag.
CBS Films, which hosted a well-received late-night screening Wednesday at CinemaCon in April, has set a July 26 launch as counter-programming to Fox’s “The Wolverine.”
