Ratings: 'Big Brother' Can't Top Fox Reruns

"Big Brother" couldn't defeat Fox's reruns on a Sunday evening during which golf overrun shifted CBS' schedule.

Fox was first in ratings with a 1.2 rating/4 share in the 18-49 demographic, but fourth in total viewers with an average of 2.6 million, according to preliminary numbers. The network aired all reruns.

While the nature of live sports renders CBS's numbers for the night approximate, the network currently holds second place in ratings with a 1.1/3 -- but was first in total viewers with 4.9 million. The golf overrun into a "60 Minutes" repeat at 7 p.m. received a 0.7/3 and 5.5 million viewers. "Big Brother" at 8:30 was the highest-rated program of the night, with a 2.0/6 and 6.1 million viewers. CBS aired repeats the rest of the night.
