R2-D2 Impersonates Justin Timberlake in Nerdist's 'Star Wars: Course of the Force' (Video)

R2-D2 is more than meets the eye in the first episode of Nerdist's "Stars Wars"-themed web series, "Course of the Force."

The series premieres a new episode every Wednesday until July 2, leading up to July's Olympic-torch-style lightsaber relay run down the California coastline to San Diego Comic-Con.

Not only does the beeping bot do his best "Borat" impersonation, but the droid brings sexy back just like Justin Timberlake.

From the minds of "Saturday Night Live" writers, Episode 1 of the six-part series co-stars comedians Chris Hardwick, Matt Mira, Moshe Kasher, who are tasked with tracking down a lightsaber that goes missing from Skywalker Ranch just before the annual Course of the Force run.

The Olympic-torch-style lightsaber relay run, from July 9 and 16, takes runners from George Lucas' Skywalker Ranch down the California coastline to San Diego Comic Con. Last year, thousands participated in the event to benefit the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
