‘Pretty Little Liars’ Actress Sasha Pieterse Boards ‘Inherent Vice’
Sasha Pieterse has joined the cast of Paul Thomas Anderson’s ever-growing ensemble “Inherent Vice” starring Joaquin Phoenix.
The “Pretty Little Liars” actress joins a cast that already includes Reese Witherspoon, Josh Brolin and Owen Wilson. Red Vines and Cigarettes reported the news.
Anderson is writing and directing with Warner Bros. on board to finance and distribute.
Based on the 2009 Thomas Pynchon detective tome, the story is set in 1960s Los Angeles and follows the drug-fueled detective Larry “Doc” Sportello as he investigates the case of a kidnapped girl.
Production is currently underway.
Pieterse’s most recent film, “GBF” premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival. She is repped by WME, Untitled Ent. and Elain Lively.
