Peter Jackson Directing An Episode Of ‘Doctor Who’?

Peter Jackson has dropped an intriguing video on his Facebook page. Seems the much-buzzed-about topic of Jackson directing an episode of Doctor Who is becoming a reality — or is it?

In the video, we see Jackson polishing his four Oscars as his daughter Katie reads him an email from Doctor Who showrunner Steven Moffat, asking if Jackson will direct an episode of the hit BBC series. She asks Dad why Jackson hasn’t responded to Moffat’s emails. “He’s always emailing me,” Jackson says (Moffat mentioned that in an interview this month). Suddenly Peter Capaldi, the 12th Doctor Who himself, shows up — presumably with a BBC contract for Jackson to sign. But before he puts pen to paper, the duo rush off to watch The Walking Dead. Check it out above.
