Paula Patton Joining Adam Sandler, David Spade In Netflix Comedy ‘The Do Over’

EXCLUSIVE: Paula Patton is making a deal to join Adam Sandler and David Spade in The Do Over, the Steve Brill-directed comedy that will be the second film in the multipicture pact Sandler and his Happy Madison made with Netflix. Scripted by Chris Pappas and Kevin Barnett, the comedy is about two down-on-their-luck guys who decide to fake their own deaths and start over with new identities, only to find the people they’re pretending to be are in even deeper trouble.

Pic will shoot in Savannah, GA, in July. Sandler’s first Netflix pic is The Ridiculous Six. Patton has wrapped Warcraft, the Duncan Jones-directed adaptation of the video game for Universal and Legendary. She’s repped by CAA and More/Medavoy.
