PactUS Staffs Up, Hires Matt Gould To Oversee East Coast Ops

PactUS, the TV and content producers’ company launched earlier this month with former Nat Geo Channel CEO David Lyle at the helm, has tapped veteran reality TV executive producer Matt Gould as EVP. He will rep the group on the East Coast.

Gould will work with Lyle on strengthening the newly formed company and generating awareness about PactUS and its services. This comes after most recently serving as EVP of Zig Zag Productions, where he led business and programming efforts for networks including Syfy, National Geographic, A&E, Nickelodeon and others. His EP credits include Travel Channel’s Man Vs. Food, Discovery Channel’s American Chopper, TLC’s Trauma: Life In The E.R. and truTV’s Storage Hunters.

The UK trade association Pact has repped the commercial interests of independent TV and content production companies in the UK for a decade before making the jump to the U.S. earlier this month. One of Lyle’s first duties as president was to establish offices in Los Angeles and New York and hire staff.

“I am delighted Matt has come to join PactUS as we engage with the TV production community across the country,” said Lyle. “His creative drive and ddevelopment expertise mean he talks to content creators in their own language and understands their issues. He knows the contemporary NY scene intimately and knows how it can fit into the world market.”
