Michael Jordan’s ‘Space Jam’ Uniform to Be Up for Auction

If you want to be Like Mike, you might be in luck — if you’ve got at least $10,000 to burn.

Fans of Warner Bros.’ 1996 movie “Space Jam” can bid on Jordan’s Tune Squad uniform that the basketball star wore during the filming of the live action-toon mix starting Oct. 1 (though beware: “signs of wear” and “minor staining” should be expected).

Los Angeles-based Profiles in History, which also headed the auctions of choice items from “Glee,” “Mad Men” and more, is handling the auction, with bidding available online through Invaluable.

As the auction house notes, Jordan wore the uniform during the climatic showdown between the Tune Squad and the villainous Monstars to win the Looney Tunes’ freedom. Along with the jersey, complete with the Tune Squad logo and the number “23” emblazoned on the back, the package also comes with a matching pair of size 38 shorts.

The estimated listing price ranges from $10,000 to $15,000.

“Space Jam” was a hit when it debuted in the mid-’90s, pulling in $230 million worldwide to become the highest-grossing basketball movie of all time.

Those interested in buying Jordan’s Tune Squad gear can bid here in October.
