LONDON – Martin Scorsese is to executive produce Tomorrow, a British feature marking the big screen debut for the legendary filmmaker's long time script supervisor Martha Pinson.

Pinson will direct the movie which is billed as a feel good story about five main characters living for the day written by Stuart Brennan and Sebastian Street.

London based Burn Hand Film Productions will produce the project

Neil Jones and Dean Mitchell taking the lead producer roles while executive producer Emma Tillinger Koskoff joins Scorsese.

Pinson's resume boasts award winning shorts and off Broadway plays in addition to her script work with Scorsese and work with Sidney Lumet and Oliver Stone.

Set in the British capital now, the move is set to shoot later this year.

Casting is underway.

Mitchell said: "It’s an amazing script, with colorful characters and a truly uplifting story. The film deals with a number of important issues, including HIV and soldiers returning home with post-traumatic stress disorder and will be making an important statement in how it addresses these. With Martha at the helm, it’s going to be a beautiful picture."
