Mad Men executive producers Maria and Andre Jacquemetton have found a new professional home.

The married Emmy-winning writing partners, who often run the Men writers room, have inked a multi-million dollar overall deal at Warner Bros. to develop scripted fare for cable via Warner Horizon as well as for broadcast through Warner Bros. TV. As part of the arrangement, the couple will depart the Lionsgate-produced AMC darling after the series’ sixth season.

The new deal will begin May 1, which follows completion of production on the new season, which bows April 7.

“We are thrilled with the opportunity that Peter Roth and Craig Erwich have offered us at Warner Horizon Television, and we are looking forward to working with them,"  the Jacquemettons said in a joint statement to The Hollywood Reporter. "It’s been a privilege to have been a part of Mad Men for six seasons, and we’ve learned so much working with the show’s first-class cast, crew and writers, especially Matthew Weiner, who has been a mentor and a friend. We are grateful for the opportunity he gave us and look forward to continuing our collaboration on future projects."

Added Weiner: "Maria and Andre have been personal friends for over 20 years and, for the past six years, an essential part of Mad Men. I wish them all the best, and though I will miss seeing them every day, no one deserves this opportunity more than Maria and Andre, and I can’t wait to watch their show.”

In their tenure on Men, the partners have written many acclaimed episodes together. They share an office at Men's downtown Los Angeles space, where their desks face each other. “If it’s a female-driven story, then Maria will take it. If it’s a ‘guys night out’ storyline, I’ll take it,” Andre Jacquemetton said in a recent interview as part of The Hollywood Reporter’Power Couples package. Maria added: “And if it’s a fight between Don and whatever spouse he has at the time, we kind of do it together.”

The pair met as assistants at Paramount in 1987, and began writing together years later. It was a Party of Five spec script that would get them a handful of meetings, which ultimately led to a full-time gig on Baywatch. In the years since, their professional lives have consumed their personal ones – as well as those of their two children. “They constantly roll their eyes and say 'Can you not talk about work?'” Maria says with a laugh. “We just went on vacation with them for a week and at least five or six times our son said, 'God, would you guys stop talking about work?’”

The Jacquemettons are repped by CAA, Manage-Ment and Alexander, Nau.
