Larysa Kondracki Inks Directing Deal With Starz
The Whistleblower helmer Larysa Kondracki has signed a one-year directing and first-look development deal with Starz. Under the pact, she will direct an upcoming episode of drama series Power.
Kondracki co-wrote and directed the 2010 feature The Whistleblower starring Rachel Weisz. It was inspired by the story of Nebraska police officer Kathryn Bolkovac, who became a UN peacekeeper in post-war Bosnia and ended up blowing the whistle on the peacekeepers’ involvement in sex-trafficking. Kondracki’s TV directing credits include episodes of BBC America series Copper, FX’s The Americans and AMC’s Halt And Catch Fire, The Walking Dead and Better Call Saul. Kondracki is repped by Verve, Writ Large and attorney Linda Lichter.
