‘Kilo Two Bravo’ Director & Writer Ink With Verve

EXCLUSIVE: Kilo Two Bravo director Paul Katis and writer Tom Williams have signed with Verve, the lit agency said today. The war drama, BAFTA nominated this past year when it was known as Kajaki: The True Story, recounts the story of a platoon set out to disable a Taliban roadblock. On nearing the insurgents, one of the soldiers triggers a land mine, setting into motion a desperate rescue mission.

Katis is a British filmmaker who worked for years editing, producing, and directing TV commercials before transitioning to narrative films. He is also repped in the UK by Casarotto Ramsay and Associates. Williams, who also penned Chalet Girls, is repped in the UK by United Agents.

Kilo Two Bravo just made its North American premiere at Toronto and has been acquired by Search Engine and Honora, which plans to release it on VOD on November 10 in the U.S. followed by a theatrical rollout beginning November 13. Here’s the trailer:
