Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has revealed when the next four Marvel movies following next year’s ‘Captain America: Civil War’ are set to start filming.

Speaking to Collider during the press tour for 'Ant-Man’, Feige said: “We literally just crossed the halfway mark of 'Civil War’ last week, it’s day 42 or 43 of 80.

“We start filming 'Doctor Strange’ in London in November. We start shooting 'Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2’ in February-March [2016]. We start filming 'Thor: Ragnarok’ and 'Spider-Man’ around the same time, around June of next year.”

'Doctor Strange’ will star Benedict Cumberbatch as the sorceror supreme in what is set to be one of Marvel’s weirdest films to date. Tilda Swinton and Chiwetel Ejiofor are reportedly set to star alongside the Brit in the film to be directed by Scott Derrickson.

Writer-Director James Gunn recently completed the first draft of 'Guardians 2’s script which will be an "emotional” film about fathers. Teenage British actor Tom Holland was recently cast as the new Peter Parker and will cameo in 'Civil War’ before the new solo film to be directed by Jon Watts.

'Thor: Ragnarok’ meanwhile is the third film about the Norse god of thunder which will see the return of Chris Hemsworth to the role and probably Tom Hiddleston as his scheming brother Loki.

'Doctor Strange’ is set for release on 4 November 2016. 'Guardians of the Galaxy :Volume 2’ is set for 5 May 2017, with 'Spider-Man’ following on 28 July 2017 and 'Thor: Ragnarok’ on 3 November 2017.
