Kanye West Previews 6 New Songs at Governors Ball Music Fest
Kanye West took the Governors Ball stage on Sunday night in New York to perform songs from his new album, "Yeezus," which hits the stores June 18. One of them, "Black Skinhead," he even did twice.
In between the duplication (West opened and closed with "Skinhead"), he mixed his dark new tunes with a few crowd-pleasers that he keeps in his back pocket, such as "Good Life" and "All Falls Down." He also took some time to hate on mainstream radio -- you know, the industry that made him rich and famous.
"Honestly, when I listen to radio, that ain't where I wanna be no more," West told the crowd during his set. "At this point, I could give a f--- about selling a million records as long as I put out an album that y'all can rock to all motherf---ing summer. And I don't give a f--- that the label's saying I can sell more records."
Two of the songs below West performed when he was the musical guest on "Saturday Night Live." (Remember, when he wouldn't do no motherf----ing skits because he's not a motherf---ing celebrity?)
And in the third, "I Am a God," West believes that he is entitled to croissants far quicker than they are apparently getting to him.
