Joe Henderson Inks Overall Deal With Warner Bros. TV

Joe Henderson, who was just tapped as showrunner of Lucifer, has signed an overall deal with the studio behind the new Fox drama series, Warner Bros. Television. Under the two-year pact, he will render executive producer/showrunners services on Lucifer as well as develop new projects for network, cable, and digital.

Henderson is executive producing Lucifer, from Warner Bros. TV, DC Comics and Jerry Bruckheimer Television, with Tom Kapinos, who wrote the pilot based on the characters from DC Entertainment’s Vertigo imprint, as well as the pilot’s director, Len Wiseman, Jerry Bruckheimer, Jonathan Littman and Ildy Modrovich.

Henderson, repped by CAA, The Cartel and attorneys David Matlof and Ryan Nord, recently worked on the Warner Horizon/Bad Robot upcoming Hulu event series 11/22/63. He previously served as a co-executive producer on another Fox/WBTV drama series, Almost Human, as well as USA’s White Collar and Graceland.

On the feature side, he is developing his feature spec In the Land of Imagined Things at Disney, with Charlie Bean on-board to direct, and Justin Springer producing.
