Joaquin Phoenix Looks for Love in ‘Her’ Trailer

Warner Bros. has posted the first trailer for Spike Jonze’s “Her,” starring Joaquin Phoenix as a lonely writer who manages to hit it off with his new computer operating system, voiced by Scarlett Johansson as an engaging voice program and virtual companion.

The trailer also depicts Amy Adams as a possible new love interest and Rooney Mara as his former love interest.

Warner Bros. will open “Her” on Nov. 20 in limited release in New York, Los Angeles and Toronto with other cities to follow. The Annapurna Pictures production also stars Chris Pratt and Olivia Wilde.

Jonze is producing along with Vincent Landay and Megan Ellison. He directed “Being John Malkovich,” “Adaptation” and “Where the Wild Things Are.”
