Jerry Seinfeld Series ‘Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee’ Returns to Sony Crackle in January

Sony Pictures Television’s Crackle online-video network said season 3 of “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee” starring Jerry Seinfeld will hit the service with six new episodes to bow Jan. 2, 2014.

The first two seasons of “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee,” featuring Seinfeld conversing with David Letterman, Ricky Gervais, Chris Rock, Sarah Silverman and other fellow comedians, is Crackle’s most-watched original series to date.

Season 3 of the series will run exclusively on Crackle and comediansincarsgettingcoffee.com. Seinfeld is exec producer of “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee,” which is produced by Sony Pictures Television’s Embassy Row.

Separately, Apple on Wednesday added Crackle to the Apple TV lineup, along with apps for ABC, Bloomberg and Korean TV service KORTV. The free Crackle service is available on several other devices, including iPhones, iPads, Xbox One and Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and 4, and Roku set-tops.
