Donna Martin investigates! — and Kelly Taylor is going to be right alongside her.

ABC Family has greenlit Mystery Girls, starring Beverly Hills, 90210 alums Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth.

The project follows a former starlet named Charlie Contour (Garth), a suburban housewife and mom, who is roped into solving crimes with her former mystery TV show co-star Holly Hamilton (Spelling) when a witness to a crime — and a huge fan of their former show — will only speak to the infamous Mystery Girls.

Spelling, Garth and Maggie Malina (Single Ladies) will executive-produce the show, which is based on a story by Spelling and Shepard Boucher (Men at Work). Boucher penned the pilot.

Eric Tannenbaum and Kim Tannenbaum (Two and a Half Men), Jessica Rhoades and Ashley Tisdale (High School Musical) will exec-produce the series with CBS Television Studios and Relativity Television. The project also has input from Gabi Moskowitz, the blogger behind BrokeAssGourmet.com.
