Jason Sudeikis Fronts Semi-Animated Fox Pilot From Lego Movie Duo
Saturday Night Live alum Jason Sudeikis has landed the lead in Son of Zorn, Fox’s partially animated comedy pilot from Lego Movie constructors Phil Lord and Chris Miller.
Sudeikis thus will lend his voice to Zorn, an animated fantasy warrior who upon returning home from “battle” discovers that reconnecting with his live-action son Alan (played by 21 Jump Street‘s Johnny Pemberton) and ex-wife Edie (Curb Your Enthusiasm‘s Cheryl Hines) while dealing with an office job and suburban life is harder than waging war in his homeland.
As first reported by Deadline, the live-action cast also includes Tim Meadows as Edie’s live-in boyfriend and Scandal VP Artemis Pebdani as Zorn’s sanitation company boss.
