Jackson's brother testifies about drug concerns

LOS ANGELES (AP) — A jury has heard Michael Jackson's younger brother describe what he said were multiple efforts by the singer's family to do interventions and get him off prescription drugs.

Randy Jackson detailed more than a half-dozen interventions by the singer's siblings, and occasionally with interventionist doctors, who tried to convince the superstar to go into rehab.

Randy Jackson said his older brother always refused attempts to get him into rehab and told his siblings that he had no problem with prescription drugs.

The videotaped testimony was played Friday for jurors by lawyers for AEG Live LLC, which is being sued by Jackson's mother. She claims the company negligently hired the doctor later convicted of giving the "Thriller" singer a lethal overdose of an anesthetic in June 2009.

AEG denies any wrongdoing.
