‘Hollywood Game Night’ Ratings Jump, ‘Zoo’ Dips As NBC Wins Night

There wasn’t a lot of movement Tuesday night in primetime but there were some fine moves from Seth Green, Cheryl Burke and Joe Jonas on Hollywood Game Night (1.4/5). With that action on board, the Jane Lynch-hosted show — which also had Michelle Trachtenberg, Jenna Elfman and Jeff Dye on last night — saw a strong 27% jump in adults 18-49 from last week. Coming off the double-digit drop of its August 25 show, last night’s HGN is just behind the 1.5 rating of its July 7 season debut, the high so far. With America’s Got Talent (2.2/8) coming in as the night’s top-rated and most-watched (10.77 million) show, and even with last week, NBC easily won Tuesday with a 1.9/7 rating and 8.6 million viewers.

Both ABC’s Extreme Weight Loss (0.6/2) and Fox’s Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader? (0.5/2) matched their August 25 results in the key demo. The ratings fates were slightly less kind to CBS’ Zoo (1.0/3) which dipped 9% from last week. The CW was all encores last night and saw MLB preemptions in Chicago.
