History UK To Premiere Exclusive Documentary On Paris Attacks

Beginning Friday on History in the UK, A+E Networks will broadcast a one-hour special event documentary about the Paris attacks that claimed at least 130 lives. Terror: Seven Days In Paris looks at the tragedy in the context of a world faced with the threat of international terrorism. Throughout the rest of the EMEA markets where A+E is present, the doc will roll out from November 29-December 3.

During the seven days immediately following the deadly events of November 13, two camera teams recorded exclusive interviews with many witnesses to the killings, doctors who tried to save lives, the owner of the Bataclan concert venue and leading Paris-based international terrorism experts.

The documentary team also filmed the dawn siege by police — and its aftermath — in the Parisian quarter of St Denis on November 18 when the alleged mastermind was cornered and killed along with other militants.

Other recent terrorist attacks also will be covered in the special program, including the Charlie Hebdo attacks in Paris in January; the Russian plane brought down in Sinai; and the strikes in Beirut, which took place on November 12, the day before the Paris attacks.

Terror: Seven Days In Paris is produced by NBC Peacock Productions.
