‘Gotham’ Exec Producer Danny Cannon Inks Overall Deal With Warner Bros. TV

Top TV director-producer Danny Cannon has signed a new, three-year overall deal with Warner Bros. Television. Under the pact, Cannon will continue as executive producer/director on the studio’s Fox drama series Gotham where he has been since the pilot, which he directed. Gotham was one one 11 pilots Cannon has directed, 9 of which have gone to series. Those include the mothership CSI series and spinoffs CSI: Miami and CSI: NY, as well as Nikita, Dark Blue and The Tomorrow People for WBTV/Warner Horizon.

In addition to his services on Gotham, under his overall deal with WBTV, Cannon also will develop new projects for network, cable, and streaming services. He is repped by CAA and attorney Stuart Rosenthal.
