Fox’s ‘Knock Knock Live’ Sets Co-Hosts; Animal Planet Renews ‘Last Alaskans’

Fox has opened the door for five co-hosts on its summer reality newcomer Knock Knock Live. American Idol alum Kellie Pickler, TV hosts Adrienne Bailon and Ross Mathews and radio personalities Jordan “Shorty” Johnson and Chuey Martinez will travel the country rapping on people’s front doors and giving them a chance to win prizes and meet celebrities. The network also said today that celebs set for the Ryan Seacrest-hosted show include Common, David Beckham, Luke Bryan, Mike Holmes, Lea Michele, Meghan Trainor and country duo Florida Georgia Line. Knock Knock Live is set to bow July 21 at 9 PM on Fox.

Animal Planet will head back north for more of The Last Alaskans. The Discovery-owned cable outlet has renewed the chilly reality series for a second season ahead of Sunday’s freshman-year finale. Season 2 of the show, which documents the lives of some of the most isolated people in America as they struggle and thrive in Alaska’s wilderness, will bow in 2016.
