First Teaser for Lars von Trier’s ‘Nymphomaniac’

The first teaser trailer for Lars von Trier’s “Nymphomaniac” has been unveiled as part of the first of eight segments of the dramatic feature.

The film recounts the erotic life history of a nymphomaniac, played by Charlotte Gainsbourg. Shia LaBeouf, Uma Thurman, Willem Dafoe and Jamie Bell also star.

The minute-long teaser, dubbed “Nymphomaniac Appetizer – Chapter 1: The Compleat Angler,” deals with two young women on a train trip betting on how many men they can seduce.

Magnolia acquired U.S. rights at Berlin.
