'The Fifth Estate' Trailer Features Rise of WikiLeaks, Fall of Secrets (Video)

The new trailer for Dreamworks' "The Fifth Estate" follows the evolution of classifed information reporting website, WikiLeaks, under the tutelage of founder Julian Assange.

In the clip, Assange ("Star Trek Into Darkness" star Benedict Cumberbatch) is looking for moral men, for whistle blowers to expose secrets and topple regimes. Soon, his two-man operation takes down a billion dollar bank and seriously catches the attention of the White House.

In the movie -- as in life -- Assange is either a patriot or a traitor, depending on how one looks at him. The trailer represents that duality through concerned government employees, disgraced bankers, grateful citizens and worried colleagues.

"The Fifth Estate" also stars Stanley Tucci, Laura Linney and Daniel Bruhl as Daniel Domscheit-Berg, Assange's lone early supporter and colleague. The two men had different views ultimately for the website, and its influence and growth led to an irreparably rift between the friends.

The film comes out Oct. 11.
