Entertainment One Television exec vp of global programming, Carrie Stein describes Eleven Film as a "fresh and creative production company with truly innovative programming."

Said Stein: "They have a strong commercial slate of projects that fit with eOne’s sensibilities. We’re thrilled to be working in partnership with Jamie and Joel as we expand our television slate in the UK and European markets."

The pact aims to build on the 2012 expansion of eOne Television in the U.K. and Europe, and follows the relocation of Peter Emerson, president of eOne Television International, to the group’s London office.

Entertainment One's recent slate includes U.K. co-productions Dangerous Persuasions (Raw) and Primeval: New World (Impossible Pictures).

Entertainment One develops, produces, acquires, distributes programming across all genres, such as Rogue, DIRECTV’s first original scripted series starring Thandie Newton, and Discovery Channel’s first-ever scripted mini-series Klondike, co-produced by Discovery, eOne, and Nomadic Pictures in association with Scott Free Television.
