Election 2012: Obama Heads to Twitter to Celebrate Re-Election

Barack Obama was reelected to a second term Tuesday night -- and quickly turned to Twitter to celebrate.

"We're all in this together," he tweeted from his official account, @BarackObama, indicating that he wrote it by signing with a "-bo." "That's how we campaigned, and that's who we are."

Moments later, 16 characters said it all.

"Four more years," said the tweet, paired with a photo of the president hugging First Lady Michelle Obama.

Earlier, he thanked his supporters.

"This happened because of you," a tweet at 11:14 p.m. ET read. "Thank you."
