Disney XD has set a premiere date for Crash & Bernstein.

The half-hour comedy returns for the sophomore season Monday, Oct. 7 at 7:30 p.m., The Hollywood Reporter has learned exclusively. The new season finds Wyatt (Cole Jensen) and his puppet Crash (voiced by Tim Lagasse) as they create a new hangout and take on everyday challenges.

Meanwhile, the current freshman season will wrap up with a one-hour episode airing Monday, Sept. 9 at 8:30 p.m., titled "Crash on the Run." In the episode, Wyatt saves Crash from a Build-a-Bestie doll recall but they find themselves on the run when a recall agent, Mr. Green, is tasked to capture and destroy Crash. Andrea Martin and John Farley guest star.

THR exclusively debuts a scene from the hourlong season one finale, with Mr. Green dropping by the Bernstein home to collect Crash. It's then that Mr. Green reveals that the dolls are getting "phased out," not "fixed" like the family had assumed. He debuts a brand-new doll that Wyatt is supposed to use, and Wyatt's sister Amanda (Oana Gregory) is all for it. (Watch the scene above.)

In April, Disney XD renewed Crash & Bernstein, which recently hit series highs in total viewers (959,000) and other key kids demos, for a second season.

Crash & Bernstein comes from Eric Friedman (Austin & Ally), who executive produces with Mike Larsen (Real Time With Bill Maher), Jim Armogida and Steve Armogida (Grounded for Life). Landry Bender and Aaron R. Landon round out the cast, with recurring players Mary Birdsong, Mckenna Grace and Danny Woodburn.
