Comic-Con 2013: Vin Diesel Will Star in a Marvel Movie - Just Don't Ask Him About It

Vin Diesel is joining the Marvel universe. A fan at Comic-Con asked the action star about recent rumors that he would be playing the Vision, and Diesel confirmed there was "news coming at the end of this month.

The Vision is a character in "Ant-Man," a movie that Edgar Wright will direct for Marvel and is set to open in theaters in 2015. Wright has also been roving around Comic-Con promoting his upcoming release, "The World's End."

Diesel has already teased the prospect of his working with Marvel, posting a photo of him at the studio with the caption "Vision." Marvel is notoriously secretive about its plans, and Diesel feigned reget in letting the fan ask the question, the final one in Universal's panel for "Kick-Ass 2" and "Riddick."

Host Drew McWeeney took the opportunity to remind Diesel that Marvel had snipers in the room.

"Why did I have to go ahead and say ask the question," Diesel mused, noting that the fan asked "the one question I'm not supposed to say anything on."

"Poor Marvel, Poor Poor Marvel."

As if.
