Comedy Central Orders Flint Wainess & Noël Wells Pilot ‘Bad Couple’
Comedy Central has given a pilot green light to Bad Couple, executive produced and written by real-life couple Flint Wainess
and Noël Wells and starring Wells. The semi-autobiographical project follows Flint and Noël (Wells), an inseparable, highly opinionated couple who constantly clash with modern social mores, making life difficult for friends, family, co-workers, neighbors and themselves.
Wainess and Wells serve as consulting producers on Netflix/Warner Bros. TV’s upcoming Green Eggs And Ham animated series. They also collaborated on a comedy bullying “PSA” video. (You can watch it below.)
Wells, repped by ICM Partners and Kirsten Ames Management, is a series regular on Aziz Ansari’s upcoming Netflix comedy series Master Of None and voices a villain in Disney XD’s Wander Over Yonder. Wainess, repped by UTA and Kaplan-Perrone, also has a project at ABC Family.
