‘Cinderella’ Crosses $500M Worldwide for Disney

Walt Disney Studio’s Cinderella just crossed $500M worldwide after bowing with a $67.8M domestic haul on March 13. The superhero cluster flick will open in the Middle Kingdom on May 12th and right now is expected to trump Avengers’ and Iron Man 3’s previous approximate hauls of $86M and $121M, respectively.

Cinderella, directed by Kenneth Branagh, has taken in nearly $195M and is now the third highest grossing film of the year. Its international gross to date is more than $308M. The film stars Cate Blanchett, Lily James, Richard Madden, and Helena Bonham Carter.
