Celebs Clash Over Cara Delevingne’s Awkward Paper Towns Interview

Unless you’ve been living under a pretty humungous rock, you’ll have heard of Cara Delevingne’s epic new movie, Paper Towns.

The supermodel, and our dream BFF, has been promoting the film like crazy, on top of filming her role in Suicide Squad AND keeping her modelling career on track.

To be honest, we’re pretty tired just TYPING that.

Moving on, the morning after the Paper Towns premiere, Cara appeared on US show ‘Good Morning Sacramento’, and the presenters were less than impressed, and to be honest, a little rude to the star.

Long story short, they started the interview by getting her name wrong, asked her some pretty patronising questions - which she answered with the hilariously sarcastic wit us Brits are known for - and wrapped the whole thing up by basically telling her she needed a nap and a Red Bull.

Not great, right?

Car took it all in her stride, and stuck up for herself when she came under fire after the interview aired. Which she did.

You go, girl. Or something like that…

While some celebs - ahem Zach Braff - were on Miss Delevingne’s side, the hosts of The View, basically America’s version of Loose Women, weren’t quite as complimentary.

Nicolle Wallace stated: “When you’re a famous movie star and you get to go on a local news show to promote a movie that people are paying $18 to go watch, you don’t get to act like a b*tch.”

And Whoopi Goldberg, our secret spirit animal, added “She’s not a famous actress. She’s a newbie. She’s not famous—no, honey, I’m famous.”

Ouch.

To be honest, we think Cara handled the whole situation pretty blooming well!
