Bill O'Reilly, Jon Stewart to Debate at Live Event Streamed Online (Video)
Comedy Central's Jon Stewart and Fox News Channel's Bill O'Reilly, whose politics and gift of gab place them in opposing positions as television pundits, will spar in a political debate live-streamed online next month.
The event, dubbed "The Rumble in the Air-Conditioned Auditorium" is scheduled for Oct. 6 at George Washington University. Tickets cost $4.95 for the live show, and half the profits will go to charities.
The duo, who have already debated each other on their respective shows, deride one another in separate videos posted to the website TheRumble2012.com, where fans can go to sign up for the live stream.
The trailer boasts that the event exemplifies "why Al Gore invented the Internet."
In a separate video, Stewart can be seen sitting at a desk, seemingly nervous as he anticipates preparing for the event.
"I gotta prepare, I gotta find me somehow, like, a garrulous Irishman with political opinions, kind of bullheaded," he says, trailing off as his secretary interrupts him with a call.
O'Reilly, ever the stern-voiced personality, calls Stewart his "pal who may not be my pal after I get through with him."
