BAFTA TV Craft Awards: ‘Penny Dreadful’ Leads With Three Wins
The British Academy Television Craft Awards were given out tonight at The Brewery, City of London, and appropriately, considering the show’s five nominations, Sky Atlantic and Showtime’s Penny Dreadful had the best night. It took home wins for Make Up and Hair design, Original Music, and Production design. Trailing closely behind, BBC’s Sherlock picked up two awards for Editing: Fiction, and Sound: Fiction.
Celebrating behind the scenes talent on television, the ceremony honored a diverse range of programming that included The X Factor,Messiah at the Foundling Hospital, and Doctor Who. This year’s event was hosted by Episodes star Stephen Mangan.
