Andrew Garfield to Get Evicted in Ramin Bahrani's Drama '99 Homes'
After playing the hero in "The Amazing Spider-Man" Andrew Garfield is in talks to play a victim of the subprime mortgage crisis in Ramin Bahrani's indie drama "99 Homes," an individual with knowledge of the project told TheWrap.
Garfield will play a single father who is evicted from his home. He then goes to work for the greedy real estate broker responsible for his situation, which leads him deeper into the heart of the corrupt housing industry.

Kevin Turen and Justin Nappi are producing through their Treehouse Pictures, whose Juliet Berman will also be involved in some capacity. Treehouse recently worked with Bahrani on the well-reviewed drama "At Any Price," which starred Dennis Quaid and Zac Efron.
Bahrani previously directed the critically-acclaimed indie films "Man Push Cart" and "Chop Shop."
Garfield, who is attached to star in Martin Scorsese's "Silence," will reprise his role as web-slinger Peter Parker in "The Amazing Spider-Man," which Sony opens May 2, 2014.
