Aline Brosh McKenna Sets Graphic Novel At Fox 2000
EXCLUSIVE: Writer-producer Aline Brosh McKenna is writing a graphic novel for Archaia Entertainment, and she has set the screen rights at Fox 2000. The untitled book is an epic love story set in a world of contemporary intrigue, and it’s illustrated by Ramon Perez (Eisner Award-winning Tale Of Sand). McKenna will produce the adaptation with Simon Kinberg and Archaia will be exec producer.

McKenna is currently adapting the Royden Lepp graphic novel Rust for Fox, which also has Kinberg and Archaia as her allies. Her work on the Annie script at Sony landed Will Gluck to direct and McKenna also originated the Cinderella script that Ken Branagh will direct in the fall for a March 2015 release. The scribe’s other major credits are the David Frankel-directed The Devil Wears Prada that starred Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway, and the Roger Michell-directed Morning Glory and 27 Dresses, as well as the Doug McGrath-directed I Don’t Know How She Does It and We Bought A Zoo with Cameron Crowe. She’s repped by CAA.
