Alice Eve Boards Chris Evans’ ’1:30 Train’

In a pre-American Film Market deal, Alice Eve has boarded “1:30 Train,” portraying Chris Evans’ love interest in the romancer.

Sierra/Affinity is handling international sales, which will launch at AFM. Evans will star, produce and direct in his feature directorial debut from a script by Ron Bass and Jen Smolka.

Wonderland Sound and Vision’s McG and Mary Viola will produce with Evans, Karen Baldwin, Howard Baldwin, Mark Kassen and Bill Immerman. Wonderland is fully financing in the company’s first project to go into production since its multi-year funding deal in June, under which it can independently develop, produce and finance its own slate of film, TV and digital projects.

Evans came on board the two months ago.

Eve was most recently seen in “Star Trek: Into Darkness” and “Some Velvet Morning” (pictured above with Stanley Tucci), which debuted at the Tribeca Film Festival in April.

“I:30 Train” follows two strangers and their serendipitous meeting in Manhattan. Over the course of one night, they form an unlikely bond based on the conflicts in their own lives.

“Captain America” star Evans worked with Wonderland on “A Many Splintered Thing.” He will be seen in “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” next year.

James McGough of Latus Advisors, who is also the chief operating officer of Wonderland, structured the financing and production deal.

The Wrap.com first reported Eve’s attachment.
