Much of the movie takes place in Gray’s authentic French villa, one of the first homes she designed. Producers will shoot some of the pic there as well, and have launched a Kickstarter campaign to help restore the home with re-created Parisian interiors. Production designer Anne Seibel, who earned an Oscar nom for her work on “Midnight in Paris, is working Emmanuelle Pucci to create the home’s aesthetic.

“Price” is the latest indie to try and cash in on the Kickstarter craze. In March, the producers behind a feature version of “Veronica Mars” broke records when fans helped fund the pic’s $2 million budget in a matter of hours. And earlier this month, Zach Braff began a fundraising effort to “Wish I Was Here,” a follow-up to his 2004 pic “Garden State.”
