ABC’s ‘This Week’ Wins 2Q In Demo, CBS’ ‘Face The Nation’ Takes Total Viewers

ABC’s Sunday Beltway show This Week won the second quarter of 2015 in the news demo with 875,000 viewers – its first demo win during a second quarter in 21 years. CBS’ Face The Nation, meanwhile, won the quarter in overall audience with 3.212 million viewers, while This Week clocked 2.683 million.

And what of “sleepy eyes Chuck Todd, who does Meet the Press, which is failing in the ratings,” as former NBC star/current GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump recently referred to NBC’s Sunday Beltway show?

MTP delivered its largest 2Q overall audience in two years (2.6 million) and its best news demo showing (814,000) in three years. For the quarter, MTP came in No. 3 in overall crowd, and and in the news demo it finished No. 2.
