X-Men Apocalypse: Professor X WILL Lose Hair During Movie

When James McAvoy recently appeared on ‘The Graham Norton Show’, not only was he charming alongside ‘Victor Frankenstein’ co-star Daniel Radcliffe, he gave us some new info on upcoming flick ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’.

While the next ‘X-Men’ movie will have to be pretty epic if Bryan Singer wishes to better ‘Days of Future Past’, the interesting possibilities for the plot (comicbook fans might have a better ideas than most) remain a talking point.

McAvoy revealed that his character - the wheelchair-bound telepathic leader of the mutants - will not have the most pleasant of times.

“He ends up going through something so horrible and physically painful that he literally half pulls his hair out/half it falls out,” he shared, before backtracking on perhaps saying too much.

“Maybe, or maybe not…I just s**t myself because I know Fox Studios who own me might be angry with me for sharing that.” It’s OK, James, we won’t tell anyone.

After ‘First Class’ and ‘Days of Future Past’, we’ve seen McAvoy’s younger version of Charles Xavier with a full head of hair. Somewhere along the way it has to go, so we’re now betting it happens during ‘Apocalypse’.

But this torturous narrative the actor speaks of has got us all thinking. With no official plot synopsis revealed yet, it’s certainly opened up various avenues of speculation over how it happens. As as per the comicbook universe, he loses it as he goes through further mutations, so this will likely be the ‘Filth’ star’s most challenging effort in the series.

‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ is in UK cinemas on 19 May, 2016.
