No one other than Darth Vader seems to be missing in the latest look. Jones, Forest Whitaker, Diego Luna, Riz Ahmed, Ben Mendelsohn and Donnie Yen are all featured on the poster.
The poster comes in anticipation of the final trailer, which is expected to be released and attached to Marvel’s “Doctor Strange,” which bows on Nov. 4.
Gareth Edwards is directing the movie, which follows the Rebellion as it makes a risky move to steal the plans to the Death Star. The poster also features the Death Star in the background, along with a group of stormtroopers invading what looks to be a beach.
“Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” has already received praise for its diversified cast, and the new poster is similar in style to past posters in the franchise. The poster for last year’s “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” garnered controversy after the version in China shrunk John Boyega and completely cut out other cast members of color Oscar Isaac and Lupita Nyong’o.
The movie bows on Dec. 16, 2016. See the poster below.
