“Veep” regular Reid Scott and Barbara Hershey are starring in indie family drama “Sister,” with David Lascher directing.
Todd Camher is producing “Sister” with Matt Luber exec producing. The film began shooting this week in Los Angeles.
Story, written by Camhe and ascher, centers on an actor whose marriage is in shambles. He returns to his hometown after the death of his father and discovers his bipolar mother needs him to look after his adopted 11-year-old sister.
Scott portrays the deputy director of communications on “Veep” and his credits include Showtime’s “The Big C,” TBS’ “My Boys” and the title role of “Turbo” in the upcoming Netflix animated series. Hershey was in “Black Swan” and both “Insidious” movies.
Scott is represented by Gersh, Impression Entertainment and attorney Richard Genow.
