Raising Hope showrunner Greg Garcia is on the move to a new studio home.
After a long career with 20th Television, the Emmy winner for My Name Is Earl has jumped ship and inked a four-year overall deal with CBS Television Studios.
Under the new pact, Garcia will continue to serve as showrunner on Fox's Raising Hope and develop new projects for CBS' sibling studio.
"Greg is truly one of the funniest people I know and certainly one of the elite comedy showrunners," CBS Television Studios president David Stapf said in announcing the pact. "He is a rare creative talent who has created successful shows in both the multi- and single-camera form across a variety of networks. It's exciting to add a star producer of his caliber to our roster."
Garcia, whose credits include Yes, Dear and Family Guy, is repped by CAA and Ziffren Brittenham.
Fox renewed Garcia's Raising Hope for a third season in April.
