Prince Was 'Always Ill With The Flu' In Months Leading To His Death

Last month the iconic singer Prince was tragically found dead in an elevator in his Paisley Park home, with the star’s death being treated as unexplained but not suspicious.

Since then many of the star’s close friends and employees have spoken out about his life, with his personal chef being the latest to come forward.

Ray Roberts has worked for Prince for many years and has now revealed that the singer was always battling “the flu or a cold” during his final months.

Speaking to City Pages, Ray shared: “He didn’t seem like his normal self. He’d been like that for months. The last few months he had the flu or a cold, always.

"There was always something going on. He was off his game and needed to rest, I had to be careful about what I was serving him.”

Ray’s comments come amid claims that Prince had been diagnosed with AIDS six months before he passed away, with it being alleged that the promiscuous 57-year-old contracted HIV in the 90s before developing AIDS last year and refusing to accept medication due to his Jehovah’s Witness religion.

A pal of the star had previously told the National Enquirer magazine: “He was in bad shape. Doctors told Prince his blood count was unusually low and that his body temperature had dropped dangerously below the normal 98.6 degrees.

"He was totally iron deficient, very weak and often disoriented. He rarely ate and when he did it all came right back up.”

The results of an autopsy are expected to be revealed later this month.
