Thank your lucky planet Kryptons, because Superman is back. In “Man of Steel,” the Zack Snyder-directed addition to Hollywood’s Superman franchise, the superhero (Henry Cavill) will battle monstrous fellow Kryptonian General Zod (Michael Shannon) to save the people of Earth. It’s Hollywood’s duty to revive ago-old tales of legendary heroes for new audiences, but that doesn’t that mean we’re going to forget the previous installments!
