French actress Eva Green told Yahoo! Movies she studied Bette Davis to delve deeper into her witchy role in "Dark Shadows," in theaters now. She said she also got inspired by the "raw, animal music" of Janis Joplin, also confessing "I had to work a lot on my American accent. That was really really hard." In the film, Green plays a jealous witch named Angelique who holds a hundreds-year-old grudge against the vampire Barnabas, played by Johnny Depp. She, by the way, is the one who turns Barnabas into a vampire in the first place.
